Excellence diplomas for representatives of media outlets of Moldova

The State University of Molotov (USM) awarded excellence diplomas to representatives of Moldovan media outlets. The Gala of Faithfulness and Cooperation Awards was organized by the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences in connection with the 75th anniversary of the founding of the USM.

USM pro-rector Otilia Dandara approved of the partnerships established between the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences and the media outlets that make an important contribution to the student formation process. The Faculty’s dean Georgeta Stepanov said that this common effort of the academic community and representatives of the labor market is appreciated by students. The cooperation between institutions is varied and covers all the years of study, from professionalization lessons, thematic workshops and pubic lessons to internships and media expert appraisals of the skills of students.

Among the representatives of the awarded media outlets are Carmelia Albu of Teleradio-Moldova; Victoria Popa, director of Gazeta de Chișinău; Valeriu Vasilică, director of IPN News Agency; Lilia Carasciuc, executive director of Transparency International Moldova; Adrian Gheorghița, vice director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Moldova; Cristina Popușoi, reporter of Radio Chișinău; Nicoleta Toacă, producer of Matinalii, TVR Moldova; Natalia Gribineț-Strogoteanu, project coordinator of the Youth Media Center; Natalia Sănduță, assistant manager of RISE Moldova; Igor Guzun, director of the PR and advertising agency Urma ta; Viorica Zaharia, Press Council director; Corneliu Comendant, graphic designer; third-year students of the Faculty of Journalism Natalia Cazacu, Diana Botnaru and Octavian Graur.
