Minister of Economy in the Gavrilița Cabinet Sergiu Gaibu was appointed as director of the National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI) for a four-year term in Wednesday’s meeting of the Cabinet, IPN reports.
Sergiu Gaibu studied international economic relations. He has 27 years’ experience of work in the business sector, the public sector, the NGO sector and the electronic communications sector, and of cooperation with international institutions, including from the IT sector.
Sergiu Gaibu vacated the post of minister of economy last November, being replaced by the head of the Parliament’s commission on economy, budget and finance Dumitru Alaiba. Before being named minister, Sergiu Gaibu worked for the Independent Think Tank “Expert-Grup”.
