People can register to test the EVO application that will integrate the Digital Identity Wallet with the owner’s personal data. The Ministry of Economic Development and Digitization says that in piloting the Beta version of the application, priority will be given to people who have electronic signatures.

EVO Beta will provide access to the first modules available in the integrated public services application in trial mode, with all those interested encouraged to contribute to its development and improvement. Anyone interested can register in the test list on evo.gov.md. It is important to indicate an email to which the user is connected on the App Store or Google Play stores.

With the registration on the site, an automated confirmation email will be sent. Access to the test version is to be offered gradually over the coming weeks.

The Digital Documents and Digital Identity Wallet modules are available in EVO Beta. They allow access to digital documents – ID card (buletin), driver’s license, registration certificate – in a secure and simple way. The documents can be accessed directly from the application, through the Digital Identity Wallet. Also, they can be submitted and checked directly from the application in relation to public and private agencies, having the same legal power as physical documents.

Payments for public services are also available. The application is integrated with the MPay service and allows direct payment of the services available in MPay using the card, Google or Apple Pay, but also functions such as attaching cards for later use, viewing the payment history, and also managing accounts for receiving state payments (salary or social benefits).

Another module is Your Data. Information available for individuals and legal entities in MCabinet, as well as related actions, will be accessible directly from the application. From the tax situation, social contributions, to misdemeanors or border crossings – all information will always be at hand. People will be able to access Feedback and Contribution - an open channel for user feedback that is essential for the continued evolution of EVO.

Other features will be added as they become ready for public testing. The application is developed by the Electronic Government Agency. The implementation of the EVO application is carried out with the support of development partners: the Future Technologies Project, funded by USAID, Sweden and the UK, as well as with the support of UNDP and the World Bank.
