Every tenth person regrets being Moldova’s citizen

About 10% of respondents to an opinion poll regret being a national of Moldova. The Socio-Political Quarterly Survey was conducted by the Centre of Sociologic Investigations and Marketing “CBS-AXA”. On the other hand, 70% of the surveyed declared themselves very proud or proud to be nationals of Moldova. About 12% are indifferent towards Moldovan citizenship. Almost a half of the surveyed (47.3%) are dissatisfied with the way democracy works in Moldova. 26% of them say it is satisfactory, while 20% don’t assign to any of the options. The poll was conducted from August 25 to September 3 on a sample group totalling 1094 persons.
