Thousands of young people attended the “Cool Party” show, an event by the Chisinau City Hall that wrapped up the Year of Youth. The young people had fun together with the pop stars Aliona Moon and Satoshi, famous DJs, comedians and influencers.
Mayor Ion Ceban promised that despite the Year of Youth coming to an end, the municipal projects for young people will continue and will grow in number. “We dedicated ourselves to the Year of Youth in Chisinau and together with the young team at the City Hall, we managed to open youth centers, business incubators, we organized cultural and sports events. I want our young people to succeed in everything and become what they want to be, here at home. We grow, develop and achieve amazing things together in Chisinau”, declared the mayor.
Petru Grecu, director of the Municipal Youth Center, said that the young people of Chisinau represent the city’s vigor and energy and make Chisinau more beautiful. “We are glad that through the youth centers in Chisinau, young people have activities, are involved, do volunteering, and thus we are able to have such fun events”, said the director of the center.
The show was also an occasion to take stock of the Municipality’s achievements and projects dedicated to young people this year. 2023 has been designated by the Chisinau City Hall as the Year of Youth.
