Moldova can obtain European integration if it ensures the stability of this process, if the government program and the set objectives are achieved, former Prime Minister Vlad Filat, who heads the Liberal Democratic Party, said in the program “Politica” on TV7 channel, IPN reports.
“We can propose numerous strategies, but they will not help if we do not ensure results at the end of term. We must concentrate our energy so that the government program and the set objectives are accomplished. We also need a constructive atmosphere,” said Vlad Filat.
The former Premier stated that any important process must be responsible and must be promoted by responsible people. “Beyond emotions and perceptions, we must be consistent,” added Vlad Filat.
He also spoke about the Association Agreement with the EU. According to the ex-Premier, the European integration means independence and welfare. After this agreement is signed, there will be created new jobs and the economy will grow. “The initialing of the agreement is not only a technical element. It means that the countries that took part in the talks gave their consent,” stated Vlad Filat.
Moldova expects to initial the Association Agreement with the EU at the EaP Summit that will take place in Vilnius this November.
