The European integration for the Communist Party (PCRM) is not only an external policy choice, but, first of all, a solution for internal modernization of the state. President Vladimir Voronin made this statement at the Foundation „Friedrich Ebert”, in Germany. Speaking about the European integration path for which the formation has opted, Voronin, also the chairman of PCRM, said that it is needed „a joint and universal approach allowing mobilization of efforts in order to ensure the economic and social growth, creating in this way conditions for achieving an irreversible inter-ethnic consensus, leading to Moldova’s reunification on the ground of general civic cohesions”. Namely ensuring the unity of the most modern social, economic and civic standards is the process that joined the modern Europe. With all the polemics existing in this sense within the European Union, and critics formulated on European integration outside EU, the European option is as well a civilization option, and this option you can only delay, but to exclude it for a country within Europe would mean to be, at least, a non-friend of your own country, Vladimir Voronin mentioned. According to him, the path towards the European integration determined, mainly, a new way of understanding everything that means guarantees in Transnistrian regulation. Regulation guarantees represent the irreversibility of the European course of Moldova, starting a normal democratic process in Transnistria, where the population of Transnistria will get at last its civil rights, passports, legalize their property, will participate at elections in order to delegate its representatives within national and regional bodies. Through the European integration prospect, the head of state explained as well the political consensus in the Parliament, relations with Ukraine, which registered great development lately, signing the Action Plan RM-EU. According to the last opinion poll, 70% of the population is for adhesion of Moldova to EU and in favor of the European integration. Now it is very important for the authorities to match the level of these high expectations, the head of state underlined at the end of his speech at the Foundation „Friedrich Ebert” in Germany.
