The Athens-based European Public Law Organization (EPLO) signed a cooperation agreement with the European Economic and Political Studies University of Moldova, Info-Prim Neo reports. “The aim of the university's administration is to offer education of a high quality so that the students become competitive on the labor market. The cooperation with the European Public Law Organization will improve the quality of studies and give our students European prospects,” said rector Victoria Cojocaru. Cojocaru stressed the agreement envisions student and teacher exchanges between the two institutions and with the institutions with which the European Public Law Organization signed cooperation agreements. According to the EPLO head Spiridon Fogaitis, the cooperation between the two institutions means achievement of joint objectives, including the improvement of curricula. “We intend to bring in Moldova the best teachers,” he said. Fifty-five universities from Europe, Africa and America are members of the European Public Law Organization. The European Economic and Political Studies University of Moldova is a private institution working under a license issued in 2005. The university has four departments: Law, International Relations and Political Sciences, Economic Sciences, and Education Sciences.
