The President of European Commission Ursula von der Leyen will pay a vsiit to the Republic of Moldova on Thursdya, October 12. In Chisinau, the European official will have meetings with President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Dorin Recean, IPN reports.
According to the presidential press service, the interlocutors will take stock of the progress made by the Republic of Moldova in the process of joining the European Union and will discuss the continuation of the EU’s support for Moldova.
“We continue our ambitious reform agenda in the spirit of modernization and European transformation of our country. The issue will be discussed by the leaders from Chisinau together with the President of the European Commission, who will be making a new visit to our country,” the Government’s spokesman Daniel Vodă stated in connection with the visit.
