European Chief Prosecutor Laura Codruța Kovesi will be in Chisinau Monday, September 2, to hold a public lecture and meet with Moldovan officials.
Visiting on the invitation of Minister of Justice Veronica Mihailov-Moraru, Kovesi will hold a public lecture for students at the Moldova State University in the morning. Later she will meet with Mihailov-Moraru to both attend the Anticorruption Platform.
The European chief prosecutor is also expected to meet with President Maia Sandu and Prime Minister Dorin Recean, and talk to reporters as well.
Kovesi’s last visited Moldova in July 2022, when a cooperation agreement was signed between the Moldovan Prosecutor’s Office and the European Prosecutor’s Office.
