In less than one month of activity, the new Chisinau Mayor General met with several officials from the diplomatic missions and international bodies accredited in Chisinau, but not with a single official representing the leadership of Moldova. In almost three weeks of his mayorship, he met with the new Ambassador of Germany to Moldova, Nikolaus Graf Lamsdorff, Ambassador of Hungary, Mihaly Bayer, Bundestag MP Rainder Steenblock, with the resident representative of the International Monetary Fund in Chisinau, Johan Mathisen, with the representatives of the local public administration from Grenoble, France, with president of the Commission for Foreign Collaboration of the Masovia Voivodship, Arthur Buczynski, and Ambassador of this country, Krzysztof Suprowicz, with the EU Special Representative for Moldova, Kalman Mizsei. On Monday, Mayor Chirtoaca has two more meetings scheduled – with the Ambassador of Ukraine in Chisinau, Serghei Pirojkov and with Paolo Berizzi, first secretary, head of the Political and Economic Department of the Delegation of the Council of Europe to Moldova. Neither the Speaker of the Parliament, nor the Prime Minister has met with the newly elected mayor of the municipality so far.
