Eugen Doga to perform in open air in Chisinau

Master Eugen Doga will perform in open air in Chisinau in September. The possibility of organizing cultural activities with the participation of the master was discussed on Friday, June 13, at a meeting between general mayor Dorin Chirtoaca and composer Eugen Doga, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Dorin Chirtoaca, the City Hall will support the organization of a concert in open air. Then, they play a chamber concert with less known works of the artist, and in November Doga will stage a performance for youth, especially for students. Eugen Doga has said he wants to perform in open air to better know the Moldovan public. He adds the music is driving him over the triangle Chisinau – Moscow – Bucharest, and mentions “Chisinau is the place where grew as an artist, in Moscow he was appreciated at his just value, while Bucharest remains the capital of the Romanian cultural space.” Eugen Doga has also suggested to record Chisinau’s anthem in more versions on a CD with other works of his to be presented to official delegations visiting the Chisinau City Hall.
