Political commentator Alexei Tulbure said the EU financing will not be resumed as a result of last Sunday’s elections. What happened on February 24 was a big fraud and manipulation and cannot be called elections, while the foreign partners, even if they didn’t say it trenchantly, noted that shortcomings were witnessed during the election campaign and on the election day, IPN reports.

“It was a very clear condition that these elections should be held democratically and should meet the requirements, norms and standards,” the commentator stated in the talk show “Expertise hour” on Jurnal TV channel.

Alexei Tulbure said last Sunday’s vote was mainly against the current government given that over 60 seats of MP were obtained by parties that are against the current system. The bloc ACUM and PSRM should think about a situational vote. “I understand that a stable, long-term coalition between these two parties is impossible as the priorities are very different, as are the phobias and attacks, but it is a conjunctural situation and a possibility for situational vote against the Democratic Party in an attempt to free the state intuitions from Plahotniuc’s people,” he stated.

The deputy chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party Ion Terguță, who ran in Nisporeni constituency on behalf of the bloc ACUM DA PAS, said the citizens should understand that two things that went beyond the limits of normality happened on February 24. As the people felt so manipulated on the election day, they should mount protests .

According to Ion Terguță, if they want to survive in the current Parliament, the Socialists should support the bills on corruption fighting that will be proposed by the bloc ACUM DA PAS, but without imposing conditions: full lustration in justice, creation of a national anticorruption department for grand corruption only and confiscation of all the ill-gotten gains.
