EU could assign EUR 66 mln for transborder cooperation between Moldova, Romania and Ukraine

The joint working group tasked with drawing up the transborder cooperation project “Romania –Moldova - Ukraine” will come together in Romania (Bucharest or Suceava) on December 20. The project will be finalized the latest in the first half of February 2007 and is estimated at EUR 66 mln. According to the Ukrainian news agencies, experts and representatives of the Ministries of Finances will assemble in Romania to finalize the project. The project will be financed by the EU, member of which Romania will become as from January 1, 2007. Finances worth USD 10 mln are planned for 2007.
