Ethno Jazz Festival celebrates 10th anniversary

The International Ethno Jazz Festival is to mark its 10th anniversary. On this occasion, the organizers of the festival invited famous ethno and jazz music singers to Chisinau. Contacted by de Info-Prim Neo, festival organizer, musician Anatol Stefanet, who is a member of the band “Trigon”, said the event will bring together instrumentalists from Israel, Switzerland, Sweden, Italy, the U.S., Zimbabwe and other countries. “There will be given by two concerts a day, as against one concert last year. We usually invite well-known singers to Ethno Jazz Festival. All the invitees are talented and full of energy. I hope the event will be attention-grabbing,” said Anatol Stefanet. “Everything we accomplished until now is due to the lovers of jazz music and to our partners. During ten years, we have had over 500 invitees from 15 countries.” The tenth Ethno Jazz Festival will take place between September 22 and 25 at the Chisinau-based Theater “Mihai Eminescu”. A ticket costs 70 to 300 lei.
