The Ethno Jazz Festival was organised for the first time in 2002 and has become an important cultural and social event in an international framework. The Festival promotes the respect for the diversity of national traditions, social tolerance and a policy of culture based on ethics and democratic values. The Festival is organised by the band Trigon and “Future Workshop” NGO. This year, Trigon celebrates its 15th anniversary. The band, led by Anatol Stefanet, employed Moldovan traditions and history in the music performed by them on various continents of the world, being acclaimed by renowned and great artists like Michel Pterucciani, Vladimir Spivakov, Igor Butman, Omar Sosa and Jean-Luc Ponty.
