The estimated cost for a day spent at the rest camp is about 357 lei, while at a day camp – 280 lei. The Cabinet on Wednesday approved a draft decision on the organization of the rest of children and adolescents in the summer season 2024, IPN reports.
Minister of Education and Research Dan Perciun said that this year the state is to cover the full cost of 25% of the total tickets to children’s rest camps. Free tickets will be distributed to children in difficulty, those left without parental care, those from disadvantaged families and those from large families, as well as children with disabilities, children of war veterans, refugee children, and students who achieved go results in studies or are winners of school and extracurricular Olympiads.
The central and local public authorities are recommended to sell the rest of the tickets to summer camps for children and teenagers to those who are ready to pay 20% of the ticket’s price. “Last but not least, the Ministry of Education will purchase 533 tickets for students from general education institutions situated in the eastern districts of the country and in Bender city, from institutions that are directly managed by the Ministry,” stated Dan Perciun.
Under the draft decision, the estimated cost for a day spent at the rest camp is 357.84 lei, at the sports health maintenance camp – 427.25 lei, at the tourist camp for teenagers – 392.62 lei, at the sports and rehabilitation camp – 365.62 lei, while at a day camp – 280.85 lei.
