Espionage chief awarded for outstanding work

Moldova's President Vladimir Voronin has awarded the order “Faith to Motherland” to the chief of the Service of Information and Security (SIS), Artur Resetnicov.
According to the presidential press service, the medal has been awarded “for outstanding work in the central public administration bodies, for special merits in insuring the state's security and for high professionalism.”
Artur Resetnicov has been the SIS chief since November 2007.
From 1997 to 2001, Resetnicov was a lecturer at the Law faculty of the State University and a lawyer. Since 2001 to 2007 he worked for the presidential chancellery.
