Alexandru Epureanu is witnessing a favorable period in the championship of Turkey. His team Istanbul Basaksehir remains a leader after the 11th stage, IPN reports.
With Epureanu as an integralist, Basaksehir beat Rizespor 2-1. The victory goal was scored in the last minute, after the Moldovan fullback incommoded the opponents’ goalkeeper as a result of a corner. Basaksehir scored the fourth consecutive victory and continues to be two points ahead of current champion Besiktas.
Alexandru Epureanu plays for the third season in the championship of Turkey. At the beginning of the current season, he extended his contract with Istanbul Basaksehir for another four years.
