SA “Apă-Canal Chisinau” (ACC) continues the unplanned inspections at business entities. According to the supplier, specialists aim to identify entrepreneurs that discharge water with high concentrations of pollutants. The number of such inspections will be increased on the weekend so as to detect such irregularities, IPN reports.
In the course of this week alone, there were inspected 12 business entities that perform production activities. Water samples were taken from these and measures will be taken depending on the results of examinations. If the maximally allowed concentrations in the discharged water are exceeded, the business entities will be issued with prescriptions warning them against discharging water with high concentrations of pollutants and about subsequent disconnection.
The specialists of ACC daily insect the internal water supply and sewage systems and the own pre-treatment installations, artesian wells at industrial companies. Inspections at companies operating in the wine industry, alcohol production, milk, fish and meat processing and other sectors will be stepped up.
Moreover, to avoid the suspension of contracts, the water supplier calls on all the consumers performing entrepreneurial activities to revise the technological process and not to discharge substances that exceed the maximally allowed concentrations.
