Admission to the first grade will take place in two stages. The first stage was set for May 21 – June 19, while the second stage for June 22 – July 31, Minister of Education, Culture and Research Igor Sharov was quoted by IPN as saying in a press briefing.
The minister noted the children will be enrolled in the first grade according to the district of residence and the education institutions should enable the applicants to submit applications online and directly to the institution so as to ensure access for all the beneficiaries.
Igor Sharov said the presentation of the medical certificate on enrolment is not mandatory this year. When filing the application, the parents will sign an own responsibility statement whereby they will undertake to present the medical certificate by the start of the school year.
