As from December 1 SA Energocom will purchase again electrical energy from the Romanian company Hidroelectrica – 100 MWh band (24 hours of 24) during December 1-11 and 20 MWh band since December 12 until December 31. According to the contract, the purchase price is 450 RON/ MWh, IPN reports.
This way, from December 1 the amount of electricity supplied from Romania based on bilateral contracts will rise to 5 100 MWh on workdays and to 5 800 MWh on the weekend, out of the daily necessary amount of about 10 000 MWh.
“For Wednesday, November 30, SA Energocom bought over 8,800 MWh from the OPCOM power exchange, outside the bilateral contracts, and there is no shortage at present,” the company said in a press release.
