The consumers with debts for heat are sued. Steps are taken daily to recover the debts. According to a communiqué from the heat utility SA “Termocom”, more than 90 bad payers with a total debt of about 700,000 lei were issued with writs last week, IPN reports.
About 120 cases were sent to court, while another 60 cases, over debts of more than 500,000 lei, are to be sent. Over 500 orders to levy debts for heat have been issued by courts so far this year. Another about 350 applications are being examined.
Given that it is the summer period and many people go abroad to rest, the administration of SA “Termocom” warns the bad payers that it will not cancel the lawsuits at the request of the end-users with debts.
The heat supplier calls on the housing stock managers and apartment owners to step up the payment process and to clear the debts for heat as soon as possible. The payments can be made at bank branches, post offices, electronic payment terminals and at the commercial center of SA “Termocom”.
