Employment possibilities at Job Fair

Over 4,000 workplaces in different areas of activity were proposed by the National Employment Agency in a Job Fair on May 30. The event was organized in partnership with the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family, the Ministry of Education, and the Ministry of Youth and Sport, Info-Prim Neo reports. Minister of Labor Valentina Buliga said that the employers look for qualified workers, specialists in processing and manufacturing, and unskilled personnel. The State Chancellery also offers 500 workplaces in the public sector. The diversity of the workplaces increased and the salaries paid by the economic entities are higher, said Valentina Buliga. “The average salary in the economy is 3,700 lei, but we also have companies that provide jobs with a salary of 5,000 lei. We also have legal instruments that oblige the employers to respect the minim salary, of at least 1,300 lei in the real sector of the economy,” she said. The minister also said that there are positive trends in the labor sector, including better opportunities for the persons with disabilities. “The social inclusion of the disabled is our objective and we aim to discover their abilities and help them find a job,” said Valentina Buliga. The fair brought together over 70 companies, 30 education institutions, NGOs and different public authorities.
