The National Employment Agency has launched a new online project to facilitate job seeking as well as recruitment. Services are provided for free, Info-Prim Neo reports. The new project, angajat.md, is an upgraded version of the older service jobmarket.gov.md. Users will be invited to create an account that will enable them to post resumes and fill job questionnaires. Employers will also be able to post their job offers and contacts. Raisa Dogaru, the vice director of the Employment Agency, said that the portal will be constantly updated. The site's administration will carefully check all posts for any inconsistencies with the rules. Job seekers from rural areas will be informed about the portal by the local authorities, by means of leaflets and of a video advertisement circulated on national television channels. “The project aims to ease the effort of a person who is seeking out a job”, Labor Minister Valentina Buliga stated at the launch ceremony. According to the Career Barometer, a survey compiled by the Employment Agency, doctors, pharmacists, nurses, teachers, trade managers and programmers today enjoy higher chances of getting employed. At the opposite pole are architects, agronomists, commodities experts, psychologists, zootechnicians, librarians and veterinarians. The National Employment Agency operates 35 territorial agencies. It is estimated that this year they will administrate 28,800 vacancies.
