The National Employers Confederation of Moldova (CNPM) will take part in the meeting of the national commission for collective consultations and negotiations. The Confederation’s chairman Leonid Cerescu has told Info-Prim Neo that a number of the legislative amendments put forward earlier were accepted and thus the employers will return to the commission’s meetings.
One month ago, the Confederation announced it will no longer take part in the meetings of the tripartite commission. “We said we will not participate in the meetings until they accept to discuss amendments to the law on the responsibility and compulsoriness of decision implementation. They now agreed to this,” said Leonid Cerescu.
He also said that a working group was set up and the sides submitted proposals for amending this law. “The working group involving representatives of the Ministry of Labor, Social Protection and Family, trade unions and employers formulated changes and will present them in the March 28 meeting of the commission. These changes will be later submitted to the Government and Parliament for approval,” stated Leonid Cerescu.
Today’s meeting of the tripartite commission starts at 3pm.
