Prime Minister designate Vlad Filat Wednesday had a meeting with representatives of employers, where they discussed the new government program of the executive. After the meeting, the chairman of the National Employers Confederation Leonid Cerescu has told Info-Prim Neo that they put forward 19 measures that should be taken into account by the future Cabinet.
The set of proposals includes the devising of an efficient mechanism for strengthening cooperation between employers and the central and local public authorities, promoting a balanced fiscal policy that would stimulate the development of companies, improving the system for collecting and distributing compulsory social and health insurance funds, optimizing the reporting and control procedures, and others.
The representatives of employers said there should be more active cooperation in formulating bills and standard documents that regulate the work of the economic entities. They stressed the necessity of formulating a legal framework that would guarantee loyal competition on the market and would increase responsibility for breaking the competition rules, and of examining reform bills.
Leonid Cerescu said the Premier described the proposals as constructive. For their part, the employers expressed their readiness to support the Government in its efforts to promote reforms and successfully implement its program.
In the meeting, Vlad Filat said the structure of the Government will not be modified essentially. The process of reforming the public administration by decentralization will continue and is to be finished in 2012.
