Employees submit petitions to the Labor Inspection Office

Over one thousand petitions regarding labor relationship and work protection were examined by the State Labor Inspectorate. According to the General State Labor Inspector, Dumitru Stavila, in July alone, 132 employees were complained about poor work relationship at their workplaces and 18 informed about labor protection-related infringements. At the same time, the labor inspectors disclosed about 2600 infringements on work relationship and almost 2500 on work protection. In the first 7 months of 2006, about 18 thousand infringements regarding work relationship and almost 19 thousand regarding work protection. Dumitru Stavila said that due to this year’s inspections the activity of 20 divisions and departments of different enterprises and of 434 technical equipments were stopped. At the same time 830 official reports were registered amounting to MDL 624 mln.
