Employees' retribution slightly up compared to begging of year

The Moldovan employees received an average monthly salary of 2,643.7 lei in March, that is 88.7 lei more than in January 2009 when it was 2,555 lei. In the real sector, the average salary grew from 2,834 lei in January to 2,840.9 lei in March. The salary of the state employees rose about 200 lei, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to official statistics, the farmers and pisciculture employees go on getting the lowest salaries – 1,319.2 and 1,434.4 lei, respectively. The teachers received 1,948.4 lei on average. The constructions employees got 2,964 lei on average in March, the transport sector workers – 3,403.5 lei, while the employees from the energy sector got 4,241.5 lei. The biggest salaries – 5,164.3 lei – were lifted by the employees working in the financial-banking sector.
