The employees of the Green Areas Association will go to work in more comfortable conditions. The Chisinau City Hall purchased eight new minibuses for them. So far the workers were taken to work by ZIL trucks, IPN reports.
According to the Association’s director Eliferie Haruta, the minibuses are comfortable and will be used to take employees from the suburban settlements to work in Chisinau. Eight more minibuses are needed for the purpose. Four more units of transport of the kind are to be purchased by this yearend.
The Chisinau City Hall said the minibuses “Gazeli – Next” are assembled in Russia from parts made by the Ford company and work by diesel fuel. The units of transport are intended for transporting passengers and have 18 seats.
A sum of 3.7 million lei was allocated from the municipal budget for purchasing the eight minibuses. Last year, there were also bought four towers, four tractors and three water tanks for the Green Areas Association.
