Emergency Service doctors from the city capital deny the information spread by the media regarding the increase of at least two times in the number of injuries due to snow and ice. According to them, over the last days the average number of injuries remained nearly identical to that of the same period last year. “Although we were expecting more serious cases, especially injuries, there were no special problems. 75 cases of injuries have been registered on Thursday, which constitute the average number of cases per day, including in the summer period”, doctor-coordinator of the Emergency Service Anatol Proca told Info-Prim Neo.
