In Moldova, the national service for emergency calls 112 was launched in March 2018. This number is reserved for calls that require the immediate intervention of emergency services. People can call 112 to contact emergency services – the police, medical services and firefighters.
The single emergency number 112 is the only number that can be called toll-free from any landline or mobile phone.
