Emergency Action Drill at U.S. Embassy in Chisinau

The U.S. Embassy conducted an emergency action exercise involving tactical police personnel on June 7, 2006. This practice drill is aimed at refining formal contingency plans associated with U.S. Embassy security. According to a press release of the US Embassy, during this drill, several streets and passage-ways around the U.S. Embassy were closed or restricted. Additionally, a large uniformed police presence was in the area for several hours.
