Images posted on social media show the swastika symbol and the letters “V” and “Z” that represent the symbols of Russia’s aggression against Ukraine were drawn on crosses in the cemetery. The police were informed about this case.

Over 300 soldiers who died in World War II, who were mostly from Fălești district, were buried at the cemetery in Fălești.
