The Embassy of Latvia in Chisinau, in cooperation with the National Philharmonic “S. Lunkevich”, is staging a concert on the occasion of the handover by Latvia of the presidency of the Council of the European Union. Entrance is free of charge, IPN reports.
The concert will take place at the National Philharmonic, starting at 6pm. It will involve a Latvian duo consisting of violoncellist Valters Puce and pianist Arturs Cingujevs. Their performance will be accompanied by video projections from the musical program “Teleport”.
The duo Puce and Cingujevs was formed when the two studied at the Music College “E. Darzins”, where they were appreciated by the public for the first time. After several years of studies abroad, the two musicians decided to reunite and create the music program “Teleport”.
