The Parliament Thursday adopted the decision to increase the personnel of the Broadcasting Coordination Council (BCC) by 11 persons, who will maintain the new BCC headquarters, Info-Prim Neo reports. At the Parliament’s plenary sitting, the BCC president Gheorghe Gorincioi said that after moving to the new office, the Council needs a new technical subdivision – the administrative division. The division will be composed of a division head, a superintendent, an electrician, a fitter, a guardian, a gardener, a telephonist and four women that will keep the place clean. So, the Broadcasting Coordination Council will have 42 employees and the additional salary costs will be 277,500 lei a year. The BCC also asked that the personnel are supplemented with four posts of inspector and a post of translator. Gorincioi explained that after the Council started to work in a new format, four inspectors of the BCC central apparatus were sent to work on the field, while the translator is needed to translate into Russian the Council’s decisions that are published in the Official Gazette of Moldova. But this request was rejected by the Parliament because the four inspectors are included in the personnel lists of the BCC. As to translation, this is the duty of the BCC secretary. The Broadcasting Coordination Council moved to the new headquarters located at 46 Vlaicu Parcalab Street in December 2007 following a decision made by the Government. The two-storey building occupies an area of over 800 square meters. It earlier housed “Nufarul” SA Polyclinic.
