Elena Organ was elected president of the Moldovan Tennis Federation. She was the only candidate for this post at the Federation’s Extraordinary Assembly, IPN reports.
The meeting involved ten of the 15 members of the Moldovan Tennis Federation and a quorum was thus present, the meeting being declared lawful. Elena Organ replaces Marina Tauber, who tendered her resignation.
Elena Organ is a lawyer by profession and is a tennis amateur. Since 2015, she has been a member of the Federal Bureau of the Moldovan Tennis Federation. The same year she founded and managed the Association for Beach Tennis Development of Moldova.
