Those wishing to obtain the electronic signature can contact any multifunctional center in the country starting today, September 16. The Public Services Agency (PSA) has announced that all its centers in the country can issue qualified electronic signatures to individuals. Citizens who hold them can sign electronic documents with the same legal value as document that contain handwritten signatures, IPN reports, with reference to the Agency.
At the same time, with the help of the qualified electronic signature, one can remotely access useful information from the Citizen’s Personal Office (mcabinet.gov.md) and can benefit from digital services offered on the public services portal (servicii.gov.md), as well as civil status services, the extract from the State Population Register or the Register of Vehicle Drivers.
In order to collect an electronic signature on USB-token at the PSA multifunctional centers, citizens must access the portal www.semnatura.md, fill in the electronic form online, pay for the service through MPay and go to any multifunctional center with the identity card, the payment confirmation receipt, the printed application for certification of the public key, signed by hand by the applicant.
For the ePass 2003 cryptographic device, individuals will pay 135 lei. The service of certification of public keys for the electronic signature for a one-year period costs 200 lei, and with a validity period of two years - 350 lei, said the Agency.
