Consumers will pay less for electrical energy. The National Agency for Energy Regulation (NAER) approved charges that are by about 0.4 lei/kWh lower for household users powered by Premier Energy and SA FEE Nord. The new charges take effect when they are published in the Official Gazette, IPN reports.
The new charges were approved following relevant request made by the suppliers. Premier Energy asked for a charge of 2.69 lei/kWh for end users connected to low voltage power lines (household users). The Agency approved a charge of 2.57 lei/kWh, down from the current charge of 2.99 lei/kWh.
For the end users connected to high voltage power lines, the new charge is 1.90 lei/kWh, while for those connected to medium voltage power lines this is 2.08 lei/kWh.
FEE Nord requested a charge of 3.37 lei/kWh. The NAER approved a charge of 3.20 lei/kWh, down from the current charge of 3.58 lei/kWh for end users connected to low voltage power lines and of 2.30 lei/kWh for those connected to medium voltage power lines.
The current charges were approved by the NAER in April 2023.
