Electricity charges decreased

The electric power charges were lowered. The consumers powered by Premier Energy will pay a charge of 2.39 lei/kWh (without VAT), down from 2.57 lei/kWh at present. The customers served by FEE Nord will pay 2.88 lei/kWh (without VAT), as opposed to 3.20 lei/kWh at the moment. The new charges were approved on Friday by the National Agency for Energy Regulation based on requests made by the two suppliers, IPN reports.

The following charges will be applied for household users powered by ÎCS “Premier Energy” SRL, depending on the delimitation points or consumption places:

- 1.71 lei/kWh for end users connected to high voltage power lines (35; 110 kV) without VAT ;
- 1.90 lei/kWh for end users connected to medium voltage power lines (6; 10 kV) without VAT;
- 2.39 lei/kWh for end users (household users) connected to low voltage power lines (0.4 kV) without VAT.

The following charges were approved for SA “Furnizarea Energiei Electrice Nord”:

– 1.97 lei/kWh for end users connected to medium voltage power lines (6; 10 kV) without VAT;
2.88 lei/kWh for end users connected to low voltage power lines (0.4 kV) without VAT.

The new charges will take effect after they are published in the Official Gazetteer.
