Electric and thermal supply enterprises are 92% ready for the cold season. According to the schedule approved by the Government, by October 15, all reparation and prophylaxis works will be finished. This announcement was made by the minister of Industry and Infrastructure, Vladimir Antosii at the governmental Commission for straightening out situation in the energetic sector. According to the director of the Agency for material reserves, public acquisitions and humanitarian aids, Ion Turcanu, in order make the institutions of the budgetary system work normally in the cold season, actions were already made and the necessary amount of coil was contracted. About 9 thousand tonnes of coil are deposited in tocks. This volume is sufficient to ensure the activity of these enterprises during two months. Economic agents who will not honor their contract obligations will pay penalties amounting to 15% of the value of contracted carburant, Turcan said. The repair and prophylaxis works of the internal engineer works are performed in about 87% of the apartment blocks, however the situation is a little more difficult in Cantemir, Falesti, Straseni, Briceni, Soldanesti, Taraclia raions. PM Vasile Tarlev emphasized the necessity of fully and unconditionally providing with thermal energy all social destination institutions and living fund were centralized heating system exists.
