“Not a single case of serious abuse committed in the election campaign will escape the attention of the Moldova Noastra Alliance (AMN). All those who are breaking the law will be sued. We'll go till the end in our endeavor to ensure the right of the citizens to elect, in democratic conditions, a democratic government”, declared AMN president Serafim Urecheanu at a news conference on Tuesday, Info-Prim Neo reports. He said he found out about a potential 'unprecedented' falsification of the vote. “All the confidential pieces of information, like addresses, personal codes, birth dates, which are supposed to be protected by the state, are now available for sale everywhere. This information, which is stored in the databases of the Ministry of Information Development, can be found anywhere on various websites, especially as the elections approach”, said the AMN leader. “We demand that the General Prosecutor's Office examine these cases, because they make our citizens vulnerable”, Urecheanu told reporters of a classified ordinance issued by the Ministry of Interiors, commanding the police across the country to monitor and report all the instances of criticism against the government and the ruling party. “There are many public officials who play the Communists' game out of fear or under the pressure of the administrative levers pulled by the Communists”, Urecheanu said. He mentioned, in particular, Traffic Police Chief Grigore Guzun, whom he accused of forbidding the placement of electoral posters by censoring their content. Serafim Urecheanu also named the Central Election Commission (CEC) among the government's pawns, for its refusal to admit the electoral breaches committed by the Communists Party, which, according to Urecheanu, started campaigning before the campaign was formally authorized. “The Broadcasting Coordination Council has also displayed ignorance, by avoiding to examine AMN's complaint, which reported the illegal engagement of certain broadcasters in the campaign”, said Urecheanu. At the same conference, Serafim Urecheanu presented his site – www.urecheanu.md – on which he invited the voters to join him for discussions. On the same site, the visitors can find a game in which a “fearless Serafim” battles with the Communists and defeats them.
