Promo-LEX Association identified numerous cases of violations. A large number of inhabitants of Miciurin village of Drochia district were seen drinking alcohol at a bar near the polling place, with the identity cards in their hands, Info-Prim Neo reports.
The observers of Promo-LEX also reported cases of selling alcoholic beverages near polling places in Valeni, Cahul, and in Criuleni town.
An inebriated voter tore up a ballot in Vadul lui Voda, while another voter from the same town stole a ballot. The police took the latter to the police station.
It was also determined that at least 50 voters in Stauceni village live at the same address.
Other cases reported by the Promo-LEX observers concern campaigning on the election day, when election runners and their supporters and even members of the electoral office of the polling place urged the persons to vote for a certain candidate.
