Election Commission orders runoff in Drasliceni

The Central Election Commission on Thursday, November 15, decided to organise runoff elections for mayor of Drasliceni village (Criuleni district) on November 25. The second round will be held between Valentina Chiperi, representing the Christian-Democrat People’s Party, and Vasile Ursu, representing the Republican People’s Party, who polled most votes in round one on November 11. CEC announced early elections for mayor of Drasliceni after Andrei Buzu, the mayor elected on June 17, was murdered.
