A woman aged 80 from Ungheni district was found dead with signs of use of violence in her house. The police were alerted by a neighbor.
Contacted by IPN, press officer of the Ungheni Police Inspectorate Cristina Vicol said the woman lived alone. It was preliminarily established that she was robbed.
The police arrested a suspect – a man from Ungheni district without a permanent place of residence who was earlier convicted.
The murderer faces 15 to 20 years in jail or life.
