Elderly woman dies in hospital after house fire

A woman, 89, died Sunday at the Chisinau Burns Center of burns covering 90 percent of her body after suffering hours of terrible pain, Info-Prim Neo learned from the Civil Protection Service. The woman was brought to the Center after the firefighters managed to get her out of her burning house in the suburban village of Colonita. But doctors said the injuries were too severe to be overcome. The cause of the fire is yet to be established.
