Elderly persons from Chisinau to receive by 500 lei

The Chisinau residents aged between 90 and 99 who receive a pension of under 1,000 lei will receive by 500 lei on the occasion of the International Day of Older Persons. The money will be transferred through the Municipal Population Support Fund, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the presidential press service. The 503 elderly persons from Chisinau and 85 persons from suburbs can take the money from the branches of Banca de Economii starting with October 3. The lists of recipients will be dawn up by the National Social Insurance House. As many as 588 persons will receive financial assistance to the total value of about 300,000 lei. The Chisinau administration awards by 5,000 lei to the residents who are 100 years and older on their birthdays.
