Eight general education institutions switched over to online learning owing to quarantine, as did 169 classes of other institutions. The number of students who tested positive for COVID-19 is of 288, while 3,610 students are quarantining. Also, 11 kindergartens and 40 groups of children are in quarantine. There are 14 preschoolers confirmed with COVID-19, while another 1,370 children are quarantining, IPN reports, with reference to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research.
By November 13, 357 teachers and 103 educators had been confirmed with the infection.
In technical and vocational education institutions, 25 students and 16 teachers tested positive for COVID-19 during November 9-13. In the period, 24 students and eight teachers of higher education establishments were also confirmed with the infection.
