Eggs, bunnies and hundreds of pond cakes welcome Easter at Shopping MallDova

From the first days of April, Shopping MallDova meets its visitors according to tradition: with eggs, bunnies and pound cakes. Weekly contests and raffles with prizes will take place in a warm and friendly atmosphere that will prevail in the mall during the Easter holidays, Info-Prim Neo reports. During the month, the mall’s Ester bunnies will offer presents not only to kids, but to all the visitors that will make purchases in the shops located in Shopping MallDova. There will be also live rabbits that are considered the symbol of fertility, the shopping center says in a communiqué. In the garden set up at the first floor, the children will amuse themselves looking for hidden chocolate eggs. The grownups could spend the time admiring the exhibition of painted ostrich eggs made of straw, plastic and other materials by artists of the Union of Craftsmen of Moldova. There will be also a surprise. Throughout April, five copies of Faberge eggs about 1 meter in height will make the Easter atmosphere nicer. A Faberge egg is any one of sixty-nine jeweled eggs made by Peter Carl Faberge and his assistants between 1885 and 1917. Fifty Imperial Faberge Easter eggs were made and presented to Czars Alexander III and Nicholas II of Russia. The term "Faberge egg" has become a synonym of luxury and the eggs are regarded as masterpieces of the jeweler’s art. On April 24, Shopping MallDova will hold a competition where the participants will have clink over 100 red eggs. The person that will remain with the last whole egg will become the winner. The winning eggs will be also broken to prove that it is real. Shopping MallDova will also hold weakly raffles with a lot of presents for those that will make purchases in the mall in April. The international brand shops working in the mall will present the spring-summer collection 2009 with varied models and prices. Another surprise prepared by Shopping MallDova for the Chisinau residents is the first multiplex cinema in Moldova that will be opened soon. In April, the visitors of the mall will benefit from free transport provided by Shopping MallDova. Also, the shopping center’s underground car park with 750 places will be also free of charge, the communiqué says.
