The educational and social institutions in Chisinau remain connected to the heating system for the time being as low temperatures are yet expected. The information was communicated by mayor Ion Ceban, IPN reports.
According to the mayor, last week they received requests from citizens to turn off the supply of heat in apartment buildings as it was warm outside.
"I want to announce that the managers of apartment buildings ca do this independently and the City Hall has nothing to do with this process," said Ion Ceban.
The residential sector is connected to or disconnected from the heating system following a request addressed by the manager of the apartment building to the heat supplier Termoelectrica SA.
